Ms Office Not Optimized For Mac
The new Office 2016 software is the first major Mac release since Office 2011, and it brings new versions of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint with redesigned, Retina optimized interfaces, new features. Macs running the latest OS version now warn users that any 32-bit app they launch is not “optimized for your Mac” and needs to be upgraded. Pages is Apple’s answer to Microsoft Word for Mac and used to be part of Apple’s version of Microsoft Office, iWork. Pages is now available as a standalone app though and is capable of both word processing and desktop publishing. If you’re used to Microsoft Word, it can take some time to work out where the equivalent functions are in Pages but it’s well worth the effort. Hi David, I have tested in Word 2016 for Mac version 16.17 on Mac OS Mojave and when I open a Word document on my Mac or create a new document and save on my Mac, the opened/edited documents are all in the Recent list. (Documents from SharePoint and OneDrive are also there) To better understand your situation and provide help for you, please help confirm some information: 1.

I would like to confirm if the recent list works fine on Mac Mojave before you reboot your Mac and if you have tried to create a new file in Word or Excel then check the record in recent list (not in recent list). I test to reboot my Mac and open Word 2016 for Mac version 16.17 and the local file records in recent list don't disappear even if I didn't sign in.
